- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Even after reading the numerous unfavorable reviews, I was willing to give this service a try, since their payback arrangements seem to be run of the mill for short-term installment and cash advance loans (which ALWAYS have insane interest rates and fees). When I called to discuss the terms of my loan, I spoke to Lisa, who initially seemed friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, she has proved herself to be both nasty and unprofessional (what kind of office allows someone who uses "lol" in work correspondence to hold a customer service position?). After a car accident and a credit card defrauding in back-to-back weeks put my finances in an extremely precarious position, I found myself unable to make payments according to the original schedule. Not only was Lisa unsympathetic, she continually accused me of attempting to steal money from Green Gate, all in nearly unintelligible email ramblings devoid of punctuation and rife with spelling errors. My payments are currently back on track, and now that they are she's back to being sugar and honey, but to say that I am less than impressed with Green Gate's customer service is an understatement.
