- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Clunky credit union with a sneaky penchant for raiding accounts with fees. Steer clear of this place. You're better off with a national bank that has more regulator scrutiny. I was told to open a personal account in order to open a joint account with my wife so I did. Later, I realize that they are charging monthly account fees on the personal account but not on the joint. Turns out the personal account was being charged fees because I never received a piece of mail announcing the fees. Spent half an hour on the phone with customer service and learned this is apparently a serious revenue stream for them and they have revenue retention supervisors that block refund requests for arbitrary reasons.
